The International Intoxicating Cannabis Product Symbol/ASTM D8441 is the official cannabis product symbol in eight states… and counting!
Dr. David Nathan recently submitted testimony to the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) supporting the OLCC’s proposal to adopt the IICPS as Oregon’s symbol for intoxicating hemp products, also making clear that the symbol should not be used for non-intoxicating hemp products.
Delaware, Georgia, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, South Dakota, Vermont, and Virginia have all adopted ASTM D8441, the only standardized, universal cannabis product symbol that was vetted and approved as consensus standard by ASTM International.
